Closed Roundtable: CEE in the New Digital Era of Election Integrity

In light of the challenges facing the CEE region, we have emerged as a global leader in combating misinformation and safeguarding election integrity. The region's success in ensuring open access to the internet amidst unprecedented information attacks is a story worth sharing globally in the election mega-year. Our aim is to build and present a unified perspective from our region to tell the story of maintaining election integrity. This roundtable aims to discuss benchmarks of effective actions by governments against information foreign interference, addressing deep fakes, and sustaining internet freedom. We seek to facilitate honest and open discussions on emerging trends, regulatory perspectives and the necessity for coordinated efforts. Chatham House-style, closed-door conversation with high-level representatives of government, international organisations, and NGOs. A glass of wine will be provided after the conversation.
