Strengthening the economic competitiveness of the Three Seas region through critical infrastructure and clean energy deployment

April 10th, 2024, 07:30 PM. Organized by Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center and Europe Center, in partnership with the Clean Air Task Force and Amber Infrastructure Group .

The energy crisis and Russia’s ongoing aggression in Ukraine have reinforced the value and urgency of advancing integration of the Three Seas region. In close cooperation through the Three Seas Initiative, member countries are deploying critical infrastructure projects in record time to fortify their economies against future supply coercion from Russia. However, non-Russian energy supply chains will require further investments in innovation, efficiency, workforce development, and infrastructure to remain competitive and resilient. During this private dinner, high-level participants will explore how the Three Seas Initiative can drive collaboration around financing and deploying energy and transportation projects to bolster supply chains, lower energy intensity and prices while enhancing security and reducing emissions.

This is an invitation-only event
