While addressing the Sherpas, President Andrzej Duda emphasized that the Three Seas Initiative, since its inception in 2015, has become one of the most important geopolitical platforms of regional cooperation. The Three Seas Initiative has proved its usefulness and expediency, especially in the context of two major crises: energy crisis evoked by Russia and COVID-19 pandemic.

President expressed his gratitude to all Sherpas involved in the 3SI and expressed his confidence in the bright future of this format.

As parts of the event two experts’ sessions were organized: one with the participation of OSW – the Centre for Eastern Studies - an independent public research institution; the other with the involvement of BGK – a Polish Development Bank. Sherpas also exchanged views on the decade of 3SI and proposed ideas for further development of the Three Seas Initiative.
