2021 Summit and Business Forum Media Guidelines

Only accredited journalists, photographers and camera operators will be granted access to the venues and Media Centre of 3SI 6th Summit, which will be held on 8th and 9th of July 2021 in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia (NPC), Bulgaria.

 Accreditation badges are issued only after the applicants have sent the necessary information, have received a confirmation letter and subsequently sent back their photos.

 Access

Accredited media representatives will be welcomed at entrance B2 of the National Palace of Culture at least one hour ahead of the welcoming ceremonies (both days). The journalists have to bring their badges, ID cards and pass through a security check.

At the venues of the Summit and the Business Forum all health and safety measures will be observed. Media representatives will pass through body temperature check-up. Wearing personal face masks is mandatory. 

During the event, journalists, except photographers and camera operators, will have access exclusively to the Press center and the stand-up points. Exception is the final press conference in Hall 6 (9th of July) for which the sitting places are limited. Access to Hall 6 will be provided with priority to the press delegations accompanying the presidents who will participate in the press conference. 

Access to the Summit Area (Presidential Panels) will be provided only for the Bulgarian National Television – official broadcaster of the Summit, and for official photographers and cameramen to the presidents (each delegation can be accompanied by no more but 1 official photographer plus 1 official cameraman). 

Coverage

Media Centre (HALL 4 and Hall “Olymp” at NPC) will be equipped with working desks and internet access. The accredited media representatives can watch the forum (in English language) on the video screens located in the Media Center. The official broadcaster will provide video for the accredited media at the press center where 30 HD SDI slots will be available for video distribution. Media will need to bring the relevant connection cable to use it. Stand-up and briefing spots will be located nearby.

Collecting accreditation badges 

Media representatives travelling with their delegations (up to 10 journalists) will receive their accreditation badges from the diplomatic missions of their countries of origin. Other journalists covering independently the event are invited to receive their badges in the Press Office of the Bulgarian Head of State in the Administration of the President, blvd. Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov 2 on 7th of July from 10.00 to 17.30. 

Members of the media delegation are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation and hotel reservation.
